This purpose designed veterinary clinic / hospital was designed in association with Capital Construction Ltd for the Nantwich Veterinary Practice as a new surgery in the centre of Crewe. facilities include, spacious reception and dispensary,  5 consulting rooms, x-ray, 2 operating theatres, kennels for dogs and small animals, exercise space and isolation room.

Chelford Farm Supplies have occupied this site for many years in a collection of buildings, former garage workshops and ramshackle warehousing, the equestrian supplies business occupies the former mill building on he roadside.

The new shop was designed as a split level building with the principle entrance from the car park half way between ground and first floors, this allowed the building frontage to fit into the street-scape, the engineering and repairs side of the business to be located in the lower ground floor and the retail sales on the upper ground floor linked with staircases and  a lift. Behind the shop a workshop a full 2 storey warehouse ensures a fully stocked business.

It was essential that the businesses continued to trade during the development works and careful planning by Capital Construction and the developers OM Projects ensured a smooth program and continuity of operation.

The vastly improved access, car and commercial vehicle parking have greatly improved the setting and efficiency of the site.

Family business Rowlands and Co relocated from there previous base near central Shrewsbury into this purpose designed warehouse and office building.

The warehouse was designed for quick turnaround produce storage coldrooms and frozen stock - the warehouse operate 20 hours a day, vehicle loading takes place under a huge wing roof enabling dry and safe vehicle loading and unloading.

The offices over 2 floors also operate  an 18 hour day and link with the warehouse and the loading areas.

An extension to the offices has recently been approved and construction works are likely to start in September.
